The tranquil town of Ubud in the cultural heartland of Bali will once again be filled with universal spirituality as the Bali Spirit Festival 2014 gets underway from 19th to 23rd March 2014. Now in its 7th edition, this annual spiritually charged event is projected to attract nearly 6,000 visitors to experience the synergy of global cultural collaboration through sacred arts: from yoga, healing, and meditation to diverse, creative expressions of music and other creative movements.

Set in the spectacular grounds of the Purnati Center for the Arts in Batuan, just 15 minutes south of Ubud, the daytime workshops and Dharma Fair along with rainbow kids, Camp Magic, and Wayang Kulit will enjoy a venue unmatched for its tropical beauty and gentle energy. The global music concerts will take place in Ubud, at the Agung Rai Museum of Arts (ARMA) outdoor stage, to allow easy access for visitors and locals.

Named one of the “Top Yoga Festivals Around the Globe” (Yahoo News), Bali Spirit Festival features over 150 daytime workshops set in the stunning, tropical surroundings of Bali, led by dozens of top international instructors, inspirational speakers, and holistic healers. Ranked among “Asia’s Top 6 Music Festivals” (Travel Wire), the Bali Spirit Festival’s nighttime festivities include a “Bhakti Series” of devotional music, as well as “One World One Stage” line-up of world class acts that encourage conscious living and well-being for individuals, communities, and the planet. The Festival also celebrates the lush beauty and creativity of its island-home with performances of traditional Balinese performing arts.

This year’s music and Bhakti music lineup include:  Fabian Asultany, Dustin Thomas, SusuIbu, KryastaGuna Gamelan, MekarBhuana, Cudamani, Kevin James, the Bloom Series, Daphne Tse and many more.  For the yoga sessions, the festival will feature some of world’s prominent names such as Tiffany Cruishank (USA), Janet Stone (USA), Deera (Indonesia), Simon Low (UK), Pete Guinosso (USA), Nadine Mc Neil (Jamaica), Genevieve Laquerre (CAN), Sarina Jain (India), Pau Castellsagué (Spain), Michiko Minegishi (Japan), Alexandra Ruiz (Mexico), Ronan Tang (China),Sumei Shum (SIN), Tara Judelle (USA), Julia Weis (Germany), Pimrat Swatewacharkul (Thai), Ng Wui Ching (Malaysia), Marcus Felsner (Aus), Les Leventhal (USA),and Anastasis (Greece).
